SESSION

1, 2,3
quase imperceptível tap dance
sob a mesa, sobre a madeira ainda viva
suas mãos transpiram notas
sorrisos ofuscam a luz baixa
a disritmia não é evidente
a precisão é indiferente

diante do ruído branco
da solidão

ALÉM-MAR

O MENINO

me ocupava em caçar letras
como se fossem borboletas
algumas distantes, outras familiares
herdei

me ocupava em caçar pontos
como se fossem palavras
que pudesse ligar
para me levar
ao horizonte cansado
de tantas fantasias
abrigar
quem ali vivia?
eu passei a me perguntar

houve chacina, eu sei
orei, entreguei minha juventude
às folhas de um passado em branco
e abraçado pelo frio reconfortante das ondas
amei, dei forma às palavras
que via em você
até enfim

adormecer

NUDE

breathe, now slowly
calm, undeniably undressed
before the welling eyes
that follow the killer

leaving the scene, unpunished

breathe in, avoid the feeling
for those eyes fear to solidify
the emotion that runs free
down your cheeks is true

reaching the glaciation point
crystalized indifference
crystallized dew of desire
on your hill-shaped breasts

to bleed or not to breathe
your words resonate in my head
while I collect what’s left
from the storm

from your tears, the salinity
from the sins, the secrecy
hands blindly groping for meaning
in the black ocean of the night

in the thundering absence of love
the crucial moment the anguish
of the extinct fear puts its arms
around my bare skin

the candidness of love
assaults the hollowness of being
united we are, in what we are made of
you close your eyes, the spotlight dies

and it’s finally time to rest
with the compassionate sun
twinkling right above your head
the acting is over

then I open the curtains of confusion
just to find your closed eyelids
bare of the colours Cleopatra once loved
sweetly dreaming, so life-affirming

the acting is over

RUN

I’ve been chasing the wounds
engraved by time
on my fragile, saltier-than-earth
pale skin

I sabotage my truth
to the face of your love
searching for the shelter
offered only by the darkest hours

I repel
the words
of your chastened
perfection

I find protection
from the world of words
pouring from the heights
under the umbrella of ignorance

I throw your heart on fire
towards the cold waters of my disbelief
as to harden it against
the world’s evilness including mine

I hope you find truth
in the poetry of chance
which I damn for intertwining our paths
To my stony-heart dismay
